Living in Balance and Harmony

Welcome to Our Dialogue About All Things Wholistic

The growing interest in wholistic living is an absolute joy for people like me! For years we’ve been crying out to anyone who would listen that we desperately need a wholistic model that can help change our messed up world into a more balanced and harmonious one. When I started few were listening.

In the last 10 years there’s been a major shift and wholistic approaches are now being used in many areas of our lives. Along with this new acceptance is a sometimes dark and often humorous side where anyone with a product or service to sell is body surfing the wholistic marketing wave. Did you know that elevators are part of a “wholistic buildings system designed to enhance our personal wellbeing” Neither did I until recently.

Our blog will look at current trends and successes within the wholistic movement and try to separate the valuable daily uses of wholism from the hype and bullcacca generated by materialistic marketing mavens meandering through the marketplace. (hey that’s not bad!)

We welcome different viewpoints so please participate whatever your background or level of knowledge of wholism. Michael Greenstein

I definitely agree that the ‘marketing mavens’ are trying to cash in on the wholistic concepts that are becoming increasingly mainstream. Although this may be done with superficial intentions…it may be a good thing if it makes people question the balance that exists in their lives! Anyone have any thoughts?

    Hi Dexgreenman,

Seems like your saying that however “negative” or “bad” any situation appears on the surface, there is always the possibility that something useful and positive can occur. That statement feels very wholistic and certainly has deep truth for me. Thank you for reminding me of that truth. One of the great things about asking for and receiving feedback from others is the reminders we get.
